The Skipper aka Steve Schaber this caught Steelhead on 12-04-2009, off the Columbia River above McNary Dam. The Skipper went 3 for 4, caught 2 Native Steelheads and missed one take down of the bobber! I missed 2 take downs and Bob got skunked with nothing! We were using Jigs & Shrimp!
I caught this native Steelhead with a Tying One On Rabbit/Hare Jig, on 11-05-09 on the Columbia River while fishing! I was testing out a new way of tying the rabbit/hare on the jig...The fish was released after the picture was taken.
Brian Bradley caught this Steelhead with a Tying One On Bucktail Jig, on 10-11-09 on the Columbia River while fishing the Mike Isaac & Me, Jeff. Way to go Brian!!!
AKA Head jig thrower for Tying One On Tackle, Mike Isaac took time out to take these 7 pictures of fish he caught while fishing the Columbia River from 10-10-09 to 10-17-09. Mike caught 11 fish in that time. Total was 9 Steelheads, 1 jack salmon, & 1 Salmon! It was nice of the wife to let go out fishing, that's right she was out of town! It's a good thing you filled you buck tag, so you could get a little fish slime on your hands! Also, they wanted me to ask you how is the hamburger you are cooking? I think big red truck is coming too help you out! :)
I caught this smallmouth bass on 6-20-09 on the Columbia River while fishing the Mike Isaac. This is the only picture we got, because of wind that day. It was hard to stay in the boat without going for a swim! Nope, nobody went swimming, a few times it was close. We caught around a dozen smallies, with 3 being 3 to 3 1/2 pounds. Mike did lose a 4 to 5 pounder! Not a bad day fishing with the wind blowing hard that day!
AKA Head jig thrower for Tying One On Tackle, Mike Isaac, with 1 Steelhead, caught on the Umatilla River 03/14/2009. Another great looking jig pattern that you were field testing out! Hey, wasn't that sucker that you caught earlier in the day the same size and off a 4" pink worm, see jig do work better...
The Skipper aka Steve Schaber with his 39 & 1/2 inches and about a 20 pounds Steelhead. Buster says Dad this taste good, get me another one! Steve caught it on 02-27-2009, off the Columbia River above McNary Dam. Steve what a Great Catch & Smile! By the way, Bob Gates also caught another native steelhead too, off of the famous jig, aka Halle Jig!
Phil Ruffcorn with a Steelhead, caught off of the Walla Walla River in February 2009!
The Skipper aka Steve Schaber and Buster with his 36 inch and 12 pounds Steelhead. Steve caught it on 02-14-2009, off the Columbia River above McNary Dam. Steve what a Great Catch! Also, he caught another one about the same size, but it was a native steelhead.
Top five pictures are of Bob Gates with a 37 inch and 15 pounds Steelhead caught off a newest named Jig from Tying One On, "Halle," named after his Granddaughter. We were fishing above McNary Dam on 02-08-2009. Bob was product testing a new jig for 2009 and since he did so well with it, he got to pick the name! By the way he also caught a smaller bright native steelhead earlier, that we let go, off the same jig aka Halle! The jig has the stout Gamakatsu jig hook, which never failed him for going 2 for 2. Be sure to put in your order of Halle jigs before they are gone! Call or email me for these newest Halle Jigs! Bob Nice fish, bet you were never cold like the Skipper aka Steve Schaber!!!
