Here is a Wild Steelhead (5 different pictures) that Bob Gates caught today, 12-31-2010 off of a Tying One On Bucktail Jig! It looked to be about 30 inches and would say at least 15 pounds plus...It was a good fighter too!
Here are 4 more Steelhead pictures sent to Tying One On, by Dan Dauenhauer! These were caught on 12-19 & 12-23 of 2010! These fish were caught off the some of his newest jigs, he just bought from Tying One On! We are looking forward to see what he gets in the next few months of the season! Also, Dan is product testing out some new types of jigs for Tying One On!
Here is are 10 Steelhead pictures sent to Tying One On, by a customer, Daniel Dauenhauer! Daniel bought a dozen Jigs from me at the Tri-Cities 2010 Sportsmen Show! He told me that, he feels, he has more Hookups and Less fish Lost/Missed with a Tying One On Bucktail Jig! Thank you so very much Daniel...I feel sorry for this run of Steelhead, LOL!
Here are some Coho that Chet Hall and Nate Caswell caught in September! Chet bought some custom made jigs from Tying One On, as you can see they worked great!
Above: Mike Henze of Northwest bait & Scent, LLC with a Tying One On's Custom Pink Head, Hot Pink & Black Bucktail Jig! Mike was using a red shrimp tail & Graybill's Guide Scent Steelhead (Scent) This is 1 of 6 fish, he caught in 3 hours on the Touchet River in Waitsburg WA on 3-11-2010. Mike ordered some jigs from the Tri-Cities 2010 Sportsmen Show, WAY TO GO MIKE!!!
Above pictures are of Bob Gates Wild Steelhead 1 of the 3 (all wild) he caught on 2-28-2010. He out fished the skipper & me! All of the fish where caught on a Tying One On Pink & White Bucktail with a Gamakatsu Jig Hook! Also the Skipper caught 1 wild & 1 keeper, but did not want his picture taken, because it was not much bigger than a trout, or was it that he was mad because Bob out fished him!!!
The Skipper aka Steve Schaber with a keeper Steelhead. Steve caught it on 02-07-2010, off the Columbia River above McNary Dam. Steve also caught another one, but it was a native steelhead. On 1-18-2010 the Skipper & Bob Gates also caught each a native steelhead that day out, sorry no pictures taken!
Schnapps is the one on the left & Kahlua is on the right in the two pictures to left...
I love catching'em. That skill and excitement will be in my blood until I die...Mike I.
